Training & Development

Why is training so important?

More and more companies are realising the necessity of training, indeed many sites will not allow personnel to operate any form of equipment without the relevant qualifications. Which training is relevant to your work environment?

Course's available:

PASMA

Current legislation requires that you and any of your Supervisors or Manager are trained in the safe use of work equipment, which includes mobile access towers.  The PASMA photo card provides this proof at a nationally recognised standard.

Many sites insist on seeing your PASMA photo card before you are allowed to assemble/move/dismantle mobile towers.  We advise that all PASMA trained candidates have their cards with them at all times when attending site

IPAF

  • IPAF is one of only two training providers recognised by the MCG (Main Contractors Group)

  • IPAF are the UK's most established access platform training provider and has been in operation since 1983

  • Over 50,000 candidates attend the IPAF training courses every year

  • The IPAF card is held by over 250,000 successful applicants All training is carried out at our address above

CHAS

The benefits of the CHAS scheme are well respected and established and benefit both companies and employers.

• It makes sure a company is compliant with important parts of health and safety law.

• It means members do not have to repeat the effort of assessing health and safety compliance of applications

for companies who have already been assessed to our standards.

• Companies do not have to undergo health and safety assessments every time they apply to a CHAS client

for work — they will know that they have been successfully assessed before.

• It gets rid of the inconsistency where some contractors may be judged compliant by one employer but not  others.

In addition to the above a CHAS accredited contractor will now have access to experienced insurance underwriters who will support and recognize the values of CHAS accreditation and look to reward this level of professionalism by offering premium discounts.
